Hey, thank you for your piece of advice I'm going to try one of my brother's book, a bilangual edition of a short story of Sherlock Holmes. I think it vwill be easy ^^
Well, this year, my english teacher doesn't have a good accent It doesn't help, but she insit on the prononciation sometimes. She prefers to work on the comprehension and on the "aisance à l'oral" (sorry ). I think this summer I will travel to Ireland or England, to live 3 weeks in a family. It's not sure.
Wow Is it a Danish name ? Or a Scottish "insulte" (sorry again ) ? ^^
Hey cremeanglaise !
In fact, the first new in the New York Times that I read was about the economy, and I don't know all the words of this activity in French, so imagine in English
I will follow your advices. I read Charly and the Chocolate Factory when I was youngerMaybe I will take a look on some English forums (?) to increase my level too. I want to speak the English of everyday, and if it's possible the Oxford language Shakespeare is not my priority (last year, I read a piece of an old english text. It really change ! )
I watch Ugly Betty with the English subtitles. And I love one of the characters accent, a Scottish one ... It's just ... beautiful !
Well, I try progressively to watch the shows without looking at the subtitles, but they really help ^^ I think I'm gonna whatch shows in english with english subtitles. I am not so much good to see the films in English ^^ I try at least ... Horrible, they talk faster than their shadows (private joke for French ) !
