The cartoon is in black and white . On this cartoon , we can see innumerable penguin , grouping together . On the right , there is a walrus , who's in a hole , and he speak to a penguin who tell him :

2 ) WHAT DOES THE CONFORMITY REFER TO IN THIS PICTURE ?

In this cartoon , the conformity refer to the laundry of penguin , because they are all identical . The conformity is the fact that everybody is identical , no differences ! And it's not allowed to be different !

3) IS IT THE RESULT OF A FASHION ?

Yes , it's happen the same in the fashion . Everybody wear the same clothes like a cheap, because we are influenced by the fasion , in us choices . Fortunaly , somebody doesn't respect the fashion . They wear what they like , and it's change !

4) WHAT MAKES THE CAPTION HUMOUROUS ?

The caption humourous insist on the fact that all penguin have the same " laundry "

In this black and white cartoon, we can see lots of penguins , gathering together . On the right , there is a walrus , who is in a hole , and it speaks to a penguin who tells him :

On dit "in a cartoon/photo/picture". Je ne pense pas qu'on puisse dire "in black and white" ici vu que "there it is in black and white" signifie "c'est écrit noir sur blanc.

"Lots of" veut dire "plein de", c'est préférable à "innumerable penguins".

"Grouping together" n'est pas faux mais c'est mieux d'utiliser le verbe to gather together.

Il me semble qu'on utilise plutôt which pour les animaux mais vu qu'ils parlent, le "who" me semble approprié.

C'est "it" pour les animaux, du moins tant qu'on ne connait pas le sexe. Si tu mets "he", cela veut dire que c'est un mâle.

Sauf pour les modaux, les verbes se conjuguent avec un S à la troisième personne du singulier au présent de l'indicatif.

Et ça fait un peu court pour une description. :smile2:

Je ne vois pas ce que tu veux dire par "the laundry of penguin" ?

Tu pourrais éviter la répétition de "identical" et l'emploi d'une exclamation - en utilisant un truc du genre "that is to say that there is no differences" au lieu de "no differences".

Essaye de trouver un meilleur moyen de dire "it's not allowed to be different".

"A cheap" !? Cheap n'est pas un nom.
